Radio Relay International Restructuring Proposal
MEETING OPEN TO RRI REGISTERED RADIO OPERATORS ONLY
All Radio Relay International Registered Radio Operators are invited to attend an important on-line “Zoom” meeting scheduled for February 27 at 8:00 PM EST. This meeting will have important information regarding a proposed RRI restructuring plan. The RRI Board of Directors believes this restructuring plan will have a very positive impact on the traffic system.
We seek YOUR input. RRI is intended to be a “grassroots” organization. While this plan was developed by the RRI Board of Directors and the RRI Emergency Communications Committee, it requires the support and advice of our volunteer base. This will be your chance to learn about this proposal and offer input, which will then allow us to customize the final product in a way that supports our mission and the mission of those organizations that work with RRI.
The meeting will open with a presentation that will take approximately an hour. This will be followed by an open discussion forum during which RRI Registered Radio Operators can seek clarification, offer input into the process, and shape policy going forward. Plan one and a half hours to two hours total for this meeting. This plan will significantly change traffic handling and position RRI to provide a high level of service and professionalism going forward through a process designed to solve long-standing problems in traffic handling and emergency communications methods.
